About the role
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients of all ages in a designated Stroke Center environment. This role involves actively monitoring patients, administering treatments and medications, and collaborating with a skilled healthcare team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer treatments and medications as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs.
- Educate patients and families on health issues and care plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to enhance patient care.
Requirements
- Active New York State Nursing License in good standing.
- Current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
- Experience in Emergency Department or critical care settings preferred.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
This position requires 12-hour shifts with start times at 7 AM, 11 AM, or 12 PM. Candidates will work 3 shifts per week.
