About the role
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Mullica Hill, NJ for a 13-week travel contract. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in a high-volume emergency department, providing comprehensive care to patients in urgent medical situations.
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts (18:45-7:15)
- Every other weekend required
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (Epic)
Requirements
- Three (3) years of recent experience in the Emergency Department (ED) required
- BSN required
- Travel experience preferred (at least one completed contract assignment)
- NJ License/Compact required
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required (pending certifications or those expiring within 30 days of submission are not accepted)
