Job Summary
The role involves providing direct nursing care in a 17-bed Critical Access Hospital, ensuring high standards of patient safety and quality care, and collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Schedule
- Day shifts only
- 12-hour shift hours
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- California State Registered Nurse license
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certifications
- Minimum of zero years of emergency room nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications
- NRP certification preferred

- Assessing and monitoring patient physical status
- Collaborating with physicians to correlate orders with diagnoses
- Maintaining accurate documentation every two hours
- Knowledgeable about laboratory work-up and value interpretation
- Familiarity with safety procedures and infection control protocols

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
