Job Summary
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in Rutland, Vermont involves providing exceptional urgent care services in a high-volume emergency department. The selected candidate will work on a rotating evening and night schedule, supporting patient outcomes through efficient and compassionate care.
Schedule
- Rotating evening and night shifts
- Typical shift hours are 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM, and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications
- Experience with Dysrhythmia testing
- Nationally recognized de-escalation certification
- Vermont (VT) licensure must be obtained upon acceptance
- Minimum 1 year of emergency room nursing experience
- Relevant degree or certification as an RN and current licensure in the state of Vermont
Preferred Qualifications
- Cerner electronic medical record system experience preferred

- Orientation is held biweekly
- Schedule requests are subject to managerial approval

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
