Job Summary

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in Rutland, Vermont involves providing exceptional urgent care services in a high-volume emergency department. The selected candidate will work on a rotating evening and night schedule, supporting patient outcomes through efficient and compassionate care.

Schedule

  • Rotating evening and night shifts
  • Typical shift hours are 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM, and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

  • Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications
  • Experience with Dysrhythmia testing
  • Nationally recognized de-escalation certification
  • Vermont (VT) licensure must be obtained upon acceptance
  • Minimum 1 year of emergency room nursing experience
  • Relevant degree or certification as an RN and current licensure in the state of Vermont

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cerner electronic medical record system experience preferred

  • Orientation is held biweekly

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
