Travel Emergency Room RN - $2,140 per week

About the role

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in Lynchburg, VA, providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a dedicated nursing professional to support patient stabilization and treatment in a trauma level 1 or 2 emergency setting, with rotating orientation every other Monday.

Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Work every other weekend expected
• Assignments may end on Saturday

Required qualifications

• At least 3 years of emergency department experience in a similar-sized emergency department with trauma level 1 or 2
• Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Trauma certification such as ATCN, TNCC, or ATLC
• Active VA or Compact nursing license required at the time of submission
• All Registered Nurses must be authorized to practice in the state of Virginia

Preferred qualifications

• Prior travel experience
• CIP Certification required before start date
• Prior Cerner experience is strongly preferred

Additional information

• Float rotation may be required
• Locals within 60 miles are not accepted
• Assignment approval is subject to manager review
• Organization can cancel up to 36 hours prior due to census fluctuations
• Emergency Room RN positions require prior experience, certification compliance, and documentation submission prior to assignment start
