Travel Emergency Room RN - $2,125 per week

Job Summary

Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) located in Lynchburg, Virginia. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a level 2 or level 1 trauma center. The assignment is scheduled for evenings, with shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM, every other weekend, with orientation beginning on August 24, 2026, for a duration of approximately 11 weeks.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience in a similar size ED and trauma level 2 or 1 facility
• ACTLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• Trauma Certification (ATCN, TNCC, or ATLC)
• Active VA or Compact License required at the time of submission
• All required time off requests (RTO) must be included in the submission packet

Preferred Qualifications

• Cerner Electronic Medical Record experience is highly preferred

Additional Information

• Orientation is scheduled for August 24, 2026, with sessions every other Monday
• Local candidates within 60 miles are not accepted
• IVS approval from the manager is required
• Client may cancel assignments up to 36 hours prior due to census changes

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
