Job Summary
This position involves providing high-acuity emergency care in a regional advanced cardiac hospital setting. The ER nurse will deliver both routine and complex nursing care, demonstrating independence and awareness of clinical responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Deliver perioperative, trauma, resuscitation, stroke, STEMI, and high-acuity patient care utilizing the nursing process.
- Assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Medication administration, documentation, and patient education.
- Assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Manage clinical contingencies and make appropriate assignments and delegation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
- RN license in the state of Texas or a compact license.
- 1 year of experience in an ER or similar high-acuity setting.
- Hospital or clinical experience in adult and pediatric care.
Schedule
Days shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 36 hours per week.
Additional Information
- New RN hires must attend an orientation within the first 30 days, complete competency validations, and participate in a residency program or specific orientation as required.

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
