About the role
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position located in San Antonio, TX. The role provides high‑quality emergency care in a fast‑paced hospital environment.
Schedule
- Shift: 12‑hour dayshift
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Duration: 13 weeks (October 12 2026 – January 11 2027)
- Start date: 10/26/2026
- Employment type: Travel
Responsibilities
- Perform conscious sedation and intubations
- Monitor behavioral health patients
- Manage sepsis cases
- Provide stroke care, including TPA administration
- Handle chest pain management (Heart Alerts)
- Adhere to dress‑code policies (navy scrubs, appropriate undershirts, clean nails, natural hair, covered body art, no visible piercings except earrings)
- Potential float rotation as required
Requirements
- Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
- At least 2 years of emergency room experience
- Education and experience requirements as specified by the employer
Preferred qualifications
- CEN certification
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Experience with Meditech electronic health record system

Pay
Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
