Travel Emergency Room RN - $1,960 per week

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Pueblo, Colorado. Job Summary Emergency Room (ER) Nurse specified location. This role involves providing critical care in a high-volume emergency department with a capacity of treating over 40 patients daily. The position requires skilled clinicians capable of managing a range of urgent medical conditions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse patient population with common diagnoses including abdominal pain, chest pain, fever, cough, dyspnea, headache, injury, and extremity pain.
• Perform duties such as troubleshooting ventilators, Cpap, BiPap, high-flow oxygen devices, and reading monitors when required.
• Charge nurse takes assignments; self-scheduling and block scheduling are available, with a requirement of working at least six weekend shifts every six weeks.
• Holiday work required.
• Float within Zone 1 may be necessary during extreme needs.
• Candidates should be prepared to participate in a week of orientation in the state prior to assignment start.
• Proper licensing and submitted documentation are necessary for consideration.

Requirements

• BLS (American Heart Association)
• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale)
• 2 years of emergency room experience required.

Schedule

• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
