Travel Emergency Room RN - $2,875 per week

Job Summary

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) - Lynchburg, Virginia. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a level 2 trauma center. The assignment is scheduled for nights, with shifts lasting 12 hours, and requires working every other weekend. Orientation sessions are biweekly, beginning on 8/10 and 8/24, with a target start date of 08/24/2026. Local candidates within 60 miles are not accepted for this role.

Schedule

• Nights, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum of 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Orientation sessions are scheduled on Mondays every other week (8/10 and 8/24)
• Planned start date: 08/24/2026

Required Qualifications

• Three years of Emergency Department (ED) experience in a similar size ED and trauma level 2 or 1 setting
• Active VA or Compact Nursing license at time of submission
• Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Trauma certification such as ATCN, TNCC, or ATLC

Preferred Qualifications

• Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience highly preferred
