About the role
Travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department position in Salem, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care in a 65-bed Emergency Department with pod-based layout, including separate pediatric pod and Acute Mental Health area
- Perform general ED nursing skills: assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education
- Work 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, including every other weekend (EOW)
- Float when requested (low rotation frequency for night position; night position does not rotate shifts)
Requirements
- 2 years Emergency Nursing experience
- AHA Certified BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- NRP and TNCC certifications strongly preferred
- Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1:4
- EMR: EPIC – ASAP
Schedule
- 13-week duration
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour night shifts
- Every other weekend required
