About the role
Access Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a 13-week assignment in Salem, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, Cardiac Monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking and patient education.
- Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1:4.
- Unit Name: Emergency Department.
- Brief Unit Description: 65-Bed Emergency Department, pod-based, with separate pediatric pod and separate Acute Mental Health area.
- Bed Count: 65.
- Census: 230 visits/day.
- EMR (Charting System): EPIC – ASAP.
- Floating Required: Yes.
- Rotating Shifts Required: Yes, for Day Rotate (7a-7p, 11a-11p, & 7p-7a) when requested. Rotation frequency: Low.
- Night position does not rotate.
- Certifications Required: AHA Certified BLS, ACLS & PALS. NRP & TNCC certifications strongly preferred.
Requirements
Years of Experience Required: 2 years Emergency Nursing experience.
