About the role
The Emergency Nurse provides care to patients with urgent or critical illness, patients requiring emergency care and patients seeking treatment for non-urgent care. The Emergency Nurse triages patients according to care requirements and provides ongoing assessment of their condition, immediate interventions and discharge teaching.
Responsibilities
- Care for patients with urgent or critical illness
- Provide emergency care to patients
- Ongoing assessment of patient conditions
- Immediate interventions for patients
- Discharge teaching for patients
- Triage patients according to care requirements
- Interact with patients from various populations including pre-natal, neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric
- Work on an interdisciplinary level with other healthcare professionals
Requirements
- MA RN License required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- CPI or MOAB certification required

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
