About the role
Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Director of Nursing | DON | RN to travel to senior living facilities in Omaha, Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, and Council Bluff. This position requires a strong background in nursing and a passion for working with seniors.
Responsibilities
- Administer and manage Nursing Services to residents according to physician orders and residents' needs.
- Supervise Nursing Services 24/7 and direct the Nursing Department to maintain high-quality care standards.
- Assume responsibility for center operations in the absence of the Administrator.
Requirements
- Currently licensed RN in the state of practice.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
- Prior experience as a DON in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting.
- Two years of DON experience required.
