Travel Director of Nursing | DON | RN

About the role

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) | RN to join their team. The position involves administering and managing Nursing Services, supervising the Nursing Department, and assuming responsibility for center operations in the absence of the Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage Nursing Services to residents according to physician orders and residents' total needs.
• Provide 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services.
• Direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care.
• Assume responsibility for center operations in the absence of the Administrator.

Requirements

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred.
• Prior experience in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF), assisted living (AL), or memory care (MC) setting.
• Two years of experience in a DON role.
