About the role

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 12-week assignment in Rochester, New York starting August 3, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan; strictly adhere to department policy and procedure for patient safety
  • Cook with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
  • Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable
  • Insert IVs when necessary for the test
  • Positions patients accordingly, which may include lifting or moving patients with limited mobility; must utilize safe patient handling
  • Maintains accurate patient record keeping by properly documenting all necessary components within EPIC to include identifying images and assuring images are sent to the PACS system correctly upon exam completion
  • Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility

Requirements

  • HCP’s currently registered in NYS will be required to have injection therapy certification stated on their license at time of submission
  • Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology and maintains Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • NYS licensure (must obtain PRIOR to starting position)
  • Two (2) Years' Experience
  • Level 1 Trauma Center Experience
  • BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) - Telemetry Preferred
  • Injection certification preferred-must be willing to complete during orientation process
  • Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment preferred

Skills

  • Move Level I Trauma Experience Required - 2 Years
  • CT Tech License (NY ONLY) Required
  • BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) Required
  • Two (2) years experience Required
  • Six (6) Months Epic Experience Highly desired
  • Six (6) Months Siemens Scanner Experience Required

Pay and Benefits

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
