Travel Consultant
About the Role
PerLuxe Travels is seeking a Travel Consultant who can deliver dependable, traveler-fit planning across premium resorts, cruises, Disney trips, family and couples travel, group planning, quotes, and travel-rule research. The role focuses on consultative planning within premium travel research to surface incomplete information before it leads to downstream rework.
Success is measured by clean records, explicit ownership, timely escalation, and fewer downstream fixes—all within the framework of premium travel consultative planning.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the Travel Consultant workflow by coordinating supplier or booking follow-up.
- Track the workflow by documenting the reasoning behind important trip choices.
- Own the workflow by clarifying traveler priorities before recommending options.
- Coordinate the workflow by researching destinations and products against stated needs.
- Review the workflow by comparing meaningful tradeoffs without presenting pending details as final.
Qualifications
- Confidently use Travel Operations and Follow-Up tools in consultative planning.
- Apply Group Travel Support while tracking exceptions, owners, and deadlines.
- Document decisions clearly so teammates can follow the reasoning.
- Exercise sound judgment in Itinerary Planning, escalating when necessary rather than making assumptions.
Role Details
This is a full-time, associate-level position, 100% remote within the United States. Remote execution is considered complete only when traveler-fit planning is accurate, secure, traceable, and ready for the next authorized teammate.
Pay
Base salary: $42,000–$62,000 per year.
