About the Role
The Travel Cath Lab RN provides specialized cardiac care for patients undergoing catheterization and interventional treatments.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients prior to procedures, review medical history, and perform physical exams.
- Assist in patient positioning, equipment setup, and during interventions like catheter and device placements.
- Operate monitoring equipment, recognize abnormal rhythms, and respond accordingly.
- Manage post-procedure recovery, ensuring patient stability and safety.
- Maintain cath lab equipment, ensure safety protocols, and communicate effectively with team members.
Requirements
- One year of recent Cath Lab RN experience.
- Valid RN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and technical skills.
- Physical ability to handle equipment and assist with procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and engage effectively with team and patients.
