Travel Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse - $2,585 per week
Job Summary
The ICU Cardiovascular Specialty Nurse position is based in BEMIDJI, Minnesota. This role involves providing specialized care for cardiac patients in an intensive care setting, responding to critical situations, and utilizing advanced medical equipment. The position requires experiences aligned with cardiac patient care and ICU procedures.
Job Details
- Shift: 12-hour shifts with varied schedules, including every third weekend
- Location: BEMIDJI, Minnesota
- Schedule: 36 hours per week minimum, start date is 07/27/2026
Required Qualifications
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Minnesota state Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac experience
- At least 3 years of ICU experience
- Willingness to float to other critical care units including Telemetry and Emergency Room
Preferred Qualifications
- Trauma Level 3 certification
- EPIC electronic medical record system experience or equivalent
- Familiarity with cardiac procedures such as responding to code blue calls, using ventilators, BiPAP systems, and cardiac monitoring equipment
Specific Job Duties
Managing approximately 50% cardiac patients, responding to emergency codes, utilizing vents, Artline, cardiac monitors, and other critical care equipment.
Orientation/Training
12 to 24 hours per unit, with badge-in/out procedures required; orientation period is flexible.
Other Notes
- Clinicians must have an active badge and must note if previously employed by Sanford Health, with an end date at least six months prior to submission.

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
