Travel Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse - $2,115 per week

Job Summary

The ICU Cardiovascular Registered Nurse position is located in Springfield, Illinois. This role involves working in a designated Intensive Care Unit specializing in cardiovascular patient care. The nurse will be responsible for providing advanced patient management and support during night shifts, ensuring high-quality care for adult patients with complex cardiac conditions.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 1845-0708, 36 hours per week, open to 4x12s, with every third weekend rotation.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Illinois nursing license
• At least 1 year of recent ICU experience in an Acute Care Hospital
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Prior experience with PICC line management and starting IVs

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous charge nurse experience
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system
• Trauma level I or II experience
• Hospital setting experience

Additional Information

• Candidate must have current active Illinois license or be in process with an ETA
• RTO restrictions are ideally no more than 5 days
• Candidate must be able to work 2 of 3 major holidays
• The nurse will be working in an acute care hospital with 562 beds
• Parking permits are provided at no cost
• Orientation comprises 48 hours, including virtual end-user training and modules to be completed within 1 week of start date
