Job Summary
The ICU Cardiovascular (ICU OH) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Johnson City, New York. This role involves providing specialized care to cardiac and critically ill patients within a dedicated Intensive Care Unit. The RN is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, adhering to all relevant standards and policies, and collaborating with the healthcare team to support patient recovery and safety.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-night shifts, 36 hours per week, every third weekend.
Required Qualifications
- Current New York State Registered Nurse License;
- BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross);
- At least 6 months to 3 years of RN experience including experience with intensive cardiac patients (CHF, COPD, end-stage heart failure, cardiogenic shock, septic shock, GI bleeds, CRRT, IABP, Impella, and normothermia. Stroke patients thrombectomy/TNK. ICU overflow).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting;
- CCCRN;
- Relevant skills certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC.

Additional Information
- The RN will assess, plan, delegate, and evaluate nursing care, educate patients and families, safely administer medications, participate in professional development, and support unit improvement initiatives.
- Responsibilities also include performing duties related to Charge Nurse or Shift Coordinator roles when assigned, and supporting the Clinical Ladder Program.
