Travel Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse - $2,390 per week

Job Summary

The RN will provide specialized critical care to postoperative cardiac surgery patients, including those undergoing CABG, MVR, AVR, and structural heart procedures.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 08/10/2026

Required Qualifications

• Maryland RN license or active Compact license
• BLS certification
• CPI certification
• ACLS certification
• At least 2 years of ICU experience
• Experience charting in Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• NIHSS certification
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

Additional Information

• Care for adult and geriatric postoperative cardiac patients
• Manage multiple inotropic medications, hemodynamic instability, ECMO, CRRT, and open-chest patients
• Acute management of complex cardiac cases, including TAVR, Mitral Clip, STEMI/NSTEMI, and cardiogenic shock
• Patient ratios are 1:2, with a daily census of 3-5 beds
• Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

Pay Package

Based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
