About the role

ICU Cardiovascular Nurse in Portland. This position involves delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients in the intensive care unit specializing in cardiovascular care. The role includes supervising nursing staff, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and ensuring patient safety and well-being throughout shift.

Schedule

  • Nights shift, 12 hours per shift
  • Minimum of 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Collect relevant patient data and analyze assessments
  • Develop and implement care plans
  • Evaluate patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members
  • Participate in discharge planning

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Acute care facility experience preferred
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor
  • AHA-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification or American Red Cross-Advanced Life Support (ARC-ALS)
  • Adhere to organizational vaccination requirements
  • Participate in E-Verify
