Travel Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse - $2,315 per week

Job Summary

The ICU Cardiovascular Specialty Nurse position is located in a medical-surgical unit specializing in cardiac care at a healthcare provider within the New Hampshire region. This role involves providing advanced nursing care to patients post-cardiac procedures, monitoring complex cardiovascular conditions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid license in the state of New Hampshire or compact license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLs (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Minimum of 2 years hospital-based experience in a cardiac or ICU setting
• Proficiency in telemetry
• Experience with cardiac procedures such as PCI, post-Cath lab nursing, and managing chest tubes, high-flow oxygen, Bi-pap, pericardiocentesis, thoracentesis, and pacemakers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a Level II Trauma center
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as Meditech Expans.

Additional Information

• IVCU is an 18-bed cardiac unit offering specialized care for patients with STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, CHF, COPD, and other cardiac conditions.
• The unit is equipped with IV pumps, Sara steady s, Hiflo, Bipap, Kangaroo pumps, Hoyer lifts, and bladder scanners.
• Candidates must adhere to a professional dress code and unit-specific policies.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
