Job Details

Location: 1945 NJ Route 33, Neptune, NJ 07753

• Nights shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Every third weekend required
• No holidays required
• No on-call

Responsibilities

• Manage care for post-cardiac surgery patients
• Operate advanced cardiovascular devices such as balloon pump, CCRT, ECMO, and Swan
• Multitask in a high-acuity cardiovascular critical care environment
• Provide specialized patient care, evaluate patients, and assist physicians with treatment
• Coordinate individualized plans of care based on assessments and clinical protocols
• Demonstrate competency in LVAD management

Requirements

• ASN degree (BSN preferred)
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
• BLS-AHA, ACLS-AHA, NIHSS, CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours
• 2+ years of experience working in Cardiovascular ICU
• Strong telemetry, stepdown/surgical, thoracic, and vascular stepdown experience
• LVAD competency
• Strong open-heart background

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
