Job Details
Location: 1945 NJ Route 33, Neptune, NJ 07753
- Nights shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Every third weekend required
- No holidays required
- No on-call
Responsibilities
- Manage care for post-cardiac surgery patients
- Operate advanced cardiovascular devices such as balloon pump, CCRT, ECMO, and Swan
- Multitask in a high-acuity cardiovascular critical care environment
- Provide specialized patient care, evaluate patients, and assist physicians with treatment
- Coordinate individualized plans of care based on assessments and clinical protocols
- Demonstrate competency in LVAD management
Requirements
- ASN degree (BSN preferred)
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
- BLS-AHA, ACLS-AHA, NIHSS, CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours
- 2+ years of experience working in Cardiovascular ICU
- Strong telemetry, stepdown/surgical, thoracic, and vascular stepdown experience
- LVAD competency
- Strong open-heart background

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
