About the role
Aequor Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in South Bend, Indiana.
Responsibilities
- Provide step-down care to patients recovering from acute illnesses or surgeries
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Perform basic nursing duties such as administering medications, taking vital signs, and assisting with treatments
Requirements
- At least two proven years experience as an RN
- Current licensure to practice as an RN in the state of Indiana
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Qualifications
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam
- Knowledge of step-down care protocols and procedures
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 12 hours long and occur 5 days a week.
