Travel Cardiac Step-Down RN - $2,172 per week

Job Details

• Shift: 12H Nights
• Total Weekly Hours: 36

Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
• NIHS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Licensure

• Active state license required prior to start date
• Requires valid state license (pending or participation in licensure project accepted)

Skills

• Cardiac Telemetry
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Management of dysrhythmias
• Handling of cardiac drips (no titration)
• Proficient in EKG test
• Must understand and manage a variety of cardiac drips (Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lasix)

Charting System Experience

• Cerner experience required

Preferred Experience

• 2 years of experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted

Clinical Specifics

• Interaction with beds that can perform hemodialysis (HD managed by an outside company)
• Experience with all modes of oxygenation except ventilators

**Required Experience and Qualifications:** - Must pass Tele Rhythm Identification Quiz - Required proficiency in reading, identifying, and reacting to cardiac rhythms - Required telemetry and cardiac/stroke experience - Minimum 1 year of experience required (preferred 2 years)
