About the role
The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in the Cardiac and Vascular Unit. This role involves monitoring post-operative and complex cardiac surgery patients, which includes CABG, heart transplants, and vascular surgeries. The position requires collaboration within a supportive team-oriented environment to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage patient care in both stepdown and floor settings.
- Titrating medications and managing drips, including Heparin, Amiodarone, and Dobutamine.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care and recovery.
- Perform assessments, administer medications, and provide education to patients and families.
- Utilize the EPIC charting system for patient documentation.
Requirements
- Current RN license.
- ACLS and BLS certification required.
- Previous experience in cardiac/vascular nursing is necessary.

Schedule
Schedule 12-hour night shifts, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
