Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Portland, Maine. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a busy Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology setting, supporting a variety of procedures including angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and nephrostomy tubes. The role requires a proactive approach to patient care and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details

• Urgent start
• Manage inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department cases in a 70-bed facility with 5 bays and 1 procedure room
• Shift: 8 hours, days, minimum 40 hours per week
• Rotating weekends with one night per week call from 4pm to 6pm
• Weekend rotation once per month
• Orientation dependent on experience
• No float rotation required
• Scrub color: procedural, provided
• Parking: free

Required Qualifications

• RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least 2 years of experience in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) and/or Interventional Radiology
• Experience with Cardiac Catheterization procedures, angiograms, and IR cases such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and nephrostomy tubes
• Experience with administration and recovery of sedation
• Experience with arterial access recovery
