This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the cardiac catheterization laboratory environment, supporting scheduled procedures, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will have a proven background in cardiac catheterization, with experience in monitoring, sedation, and patient support. Job Details: Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, with a schedule cycle made in six-week increments. Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab, valid BLS and ACLS certifications, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, Kentucky state license, and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications: RCIS ( registered cardiopulmonary invasive specialist) or CI (Cardiac Interventionist) certification is preferred but not required. Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, with a 36-hour minimum per week. Candidates are expected to support scheduled cases on Friday and Saturday, with call responsibilities including 1-2 weeknight call shifts per week, 1-2 weekends in a six-week cycle, and 30-minute response times. Responsibilities: Monitoring and sedation support during cardiac catheterization procedures, collaborating with cardiologists and department staff, and adhering to standardized protocols. Additional Information: Orientation includes 4-5 days of department-specific training. The role involves potential floating to a nearby hospital or electrophysiology laboratory, with free badge-access parking available. Scrub color is provided.
