About the role

The facility is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) procedures in Thornton, Colorado. The ideal candidate will possess current acute care hospital Cath Lab experience and demonstrate a positive, flexible attitude. This position provides an opportunity to work with new equipment and a highly engaged medical team in a beautiful setting near Colorado's mountains.

Responsibilities

• Perform left and right heart catheterizations
• Conduct percutaneous coronary interventions
• Place pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillators
• Perform cardioversions, transesophageal echocardiograms, tilt table tests, and Dobutamine stress tests
• Scrub and monitor during procedures
• On-call duties: 1-2 shifts per week and approximately every third weekend

Requirements

• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum of one year current acute care hospital Cath Lab RN experience
• Scrubbing and monitoring experience
• Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional procedural skills and experience

Schedule

• Shift: Days, 10-hour shifts starting at 6:45 AM and ending at 4:15 PM
• 40 hours per week

Unit Information

Cardiac Cath Lab with 3 beds and 9 staff members. Specialized equipment includes GE Innova Fluoro Systems and Mac Lab EMR (Meditech). The unit is staffed by a high-functioning, engaged team with experienced physicians.
