About the role
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) specializing in Post Anesthesia Care in an ambulatory setting in Casper, Wyoming, is responsible for assessing, monitoring, and managing patients' recovery following anesthesia procedures. This role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with organizational standards and professional nursing practices to ensure safe and effective postoperative recovery.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients in the immediate postoperative period
- Administer anesthesia care
- Monitor patient progress to ensure safety and optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Perform assessments and implement care plans
- Document patient status
- Provide education to patients and families
Required qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Wyoming
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) or ambulatory anesthesia setting
- Additional certifications related to anesthesia or perioperative nursing
Schedule
- Shift: Days, 10 hours per shift
- Minimum of 40 hours per week
- Duration: 13 weeks
