The primary responsibility of the Recruiter is to recruit, screen, negotiate with, and hire healthcare professionals while executing independent recruiting strategies to increase revenue and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit viable nurses for travel assignments through prospecting, generating referrals, and working leads.
  • Sell assignments to prospective travelers using a consultative sales approach to uncover unspoken needs.
  • Implement independent recruiting strategies to recruit, screen, and evaluate healthcare professionals based on client-specific needs.
  • Cultivate a network of potential healthcare professionals and maintain an active candidate pool to meet company goals.
  • Negotiate compensation packages with healthcare professionals while maintaining acceptable margins.
  • Develop strategies to pursue new recruiting avenues, utilizing tools such as email campaigns and social media.
  • Conduct regular competitive market research.
  • Meet or exceed key performance expectations, including outbound calls, candidate submittals, and weeks booked.
  • Provide excellent customer service to build a loyal base of working healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain positive relationships with healthcare travelers to enhance patient care through supplemental staffing.
  • Attend trade shows, conventions, job fairs, and other company or client-sponsored events as needed.
  • Complete weekly recruitment reports and special recruiting projects.
  • Meet weekly productivity metrics and goals.
  • Maintain and update candidate database files and required documents.
  • Ensure traveler satisfaction on each assignment through planning and follow-through.
  • Build and sustain positive business relationships with clients and co-workers.
  • Maintain open communication with active nurse staff and follow up as needed.
  • Uncover nurses' needs, situations, and problems by asking targeted questions.
  • Retain flexible schedules to service nurse staff requests or handle issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, with or without accommodation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, qualifying, networking, and relationship management, preferably in staffing.
  • Strong sense of urgency and effective phone presentation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, negotiation skills, and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to collaborate across all aspects of the selling cycle to achieve goals.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
