Schedule
- 12-hour shifts, flexible
- 4x9-hour shifts per week
- Call requirements: two full weekends and one weekday call per week
- Shifts start as early as 6:30 AM
About the role
The Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. The RN will assess patient needs, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, provide direct care, and educate patients and families on post-procedure care.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient and family needs through active listening and observation
- Develop and implement individualized, culturally relevant plans of care
- Coordinate care delivery throughout the patient's health episode
- Provide direct patient care and evaluate patient progress
- Educate patients and families on self-care practices post-discharge
- Engage in quality improvement activities to enhance nursing practice
- Maintain a safe and healing environment for patients and families
Requirements
- New York State RN Licensure
- One (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Endoscopy environment
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
