Travel Acute Care Registered Nurse - $2,319 per week

About the role

The Registered Nurse applies knowledge of nursing theory, technical, and communication skills in delivering high-quality compassionate care to patients and families. The Endo RN is responsible for assessing patient needs, developing plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, providing direct care, evaluating patient progress, and coordinating care delivery. The Endo RN develops specialized skills in providing care to adults, adolescents, and geriatric populations with various medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and family needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide direct patient care and evaluate patient progress.
• Educate patients and families on self-care and lifestyle changes post-hospitalization.
• Promote and advocate for patient health, safety, and rights.
• Engage in self-evaluation and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Administer medications and interventions as per protocols.

Requirements

• Current New York State RN Licensure.
• One (1) year of experience in an Endoscopy environment as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.

Pay

The Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
