Travel Acute Care Registered Nurse - $2,175 per week

About the role

Emergency Department Registered Nurse with variable day/night shifts and rotation for holidays. Schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts plus two on-call shifts every four weeks. The position requires a commitment through January (up to 26 weeks), with the end date negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify urgent management needs.
• Connect with patients and families during triage, establishing priorities of care.
• Utilize both invasive and non-invasive procedures as needed.
• Document assessments accurately and follow up on patients' responses to treatment.
• Educate patients and families on care requirements and post-emergency procedures.
• Maintain a healing environment by addressing patient and family needs and concerns.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Stroke Certification through AHA or RQI.
• At least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse, including one year in an Emergency Department.
