Trauma Progressive Care Nurse

Role: Registered Nurse on the PCU Trauma Stepdown unit, providing care for adult trauma patients requiring complex monitoring and progressive care. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments and administer medications.Manage telemetry, post-surgical care, and respond promptly to patient condition changes.Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.Precept new team members and educate patients and families.Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to safety standards.Contribute to a compassionate, learning-focused environment. Qualifications & Skills Current RN licensure with relevant clinical experience.Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.Knowledge of telemetry, trauma, and post-surgical patient care preferred.
