Progressive Care Trauma Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized, evidence-based care to acutely ill and injured patients in a progressive care/step-down setting
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and manage complex trauma and medical conditions
• Monitor telemetry and hemodynamics, administer medications and therapies
• Respond quickly to emergencies and intervene as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on care and support safe transitions of care

Qualifications & Skills

• Registered Nurse licensure with experience in trauma or acute care
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and emergency response skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Excellent communication and patient education capabilities
