Progressive Care Trauma Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to trauma and progressive care patients in a step-down unit.
• Monitor complex patients and interpret telemetry data.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote safe recovery and optimal outcomes.
• Provide thorough education to patients and their families.
• Respond to clinical changes and ensure safety through proper documentation and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN licensure with experience in trauma or progressive care units preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of telemetry monitoring and medication administration protocols.
• Commitment to delivering safe, patient-centered care and maintaining accurate documentation.
