About the role
Provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a trauma neuro stepdown setting, collaborating with medical providers for pre- and post-operative care, and advocating for patients to ensure an excellent experience.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions during admission and shifts, reporting changes.
- Perform procedures and functions as ordered by providers.
- Document care accurately and timely in medical records.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
Qualifications
- RN license with at least 1 year of experience.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications within 30 days.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days.
- Degree: Bachelor’s or Associate’s.
