About the Role
Provides comprehensive nursing care for patients requiring complex assessments and interventions in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Conducts holistic patient data collection and analyzes findings.
- Collaborates with healthcare teams to set patient outcomes.
- Develops and implements individualized care plans.
- Evaluates patient progress and ensures safety.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Applies evidence-based practices tailored to patient needs.
- Maintains current nursing knowledge and contributes to quality improvement initiatives.
- Performs additional duties as needed.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Active RN license in the state of practice.
- Relevant certifications (BLS, ALS, PALS, ENPC, NRP, TNCC) based on location.
Skills & Physical Demands
- Skills: Strong communication, clinical judgment, teamwork, and adaptability.
- Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting, reaching, and data entry. Occasional patient handling and driving.
Schedule
Night shift position in the Neuroscience Department.
