Trauma & Extremities Sales Representative (El Paso, TX)

About the role
This position will work collaboratively with key podiatric and orthopedic surgeons, hospitals, OR staff, Sterile Processing Department (SPD), administration, clinicians, and researchers. You will work cross-divisionally to increase awareness and adoption cross divisionally. This territory will manage a 24/7 call rotation within the team.
Responsibilities
- Convert physicians/accounts by making sales calls and providing on call clinical case coverage in the operating room while also training surgeons on Smith+Nephew products through education/programs in your territory.
- Build positive relationships with surgeons, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and hospital administration to enhance access to customers and provide data-driven, trusted solutions.
- Develop an effective territory business plan to generate revenue and meet/exceed your quota.
- Provide first-class technical support to ensure that product availability meets customer and patient needs.
- Collaborate with Smith+Nephew Extremities, Reconstruction and Sports Medicine counterparts in the region to discover sales opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Minimum (4) four years sales experience in medical device industry, specifically selling orthopedic products or as an EMS/Paramedic.
- Preferred experience in the healthcare industry, specifically selling orthopedic products or as an EMT/Paramedic.
- Proven track record selling/converting business at the surgeon or hospital level.
- Experience leading/mentoring team members and new sales representatives.
