Trattoria Bartender- Eldorado Scioto Downs Columbus, OH

Responsibilities

• Mix, control, dispense, prepare, and serve a variety of beverages, liquors, beers, and fine wines with precision and proper techniques.
• Maintain family-style service while ensuring adherence to proper serving standards.
• Keep coolers, bar equipment, glassware, decanters, and other beverage service items clean and organized.
• Explain and sell beverages to patrons by exceeding and anticipating guest expectations.

Qualifications

• One year of bartending experience or a degree from an accredited bartender school preferred.
• Proven customer service abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Strong grasp of the English language and the ability to operate a cash register or POS system.
• Knowledge and ability to mix a variety of cocktails.
• Extensive product knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine, with a commitment to ongoing learning as directed by management.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, climb, and reach, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in a noisy environment, potentially exposed to smoke or secondary smoke.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing and pass a background investigation.

• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively.
• Capability to ascend and descend stairs while maintaining balance for extended periods.
