Job Description

Greet, seat and cater to the needs of the restaurant guests. Take payment and to‑go orders, seat guests, and assist co‑workers with their duties to ensure the best service for the guest.

Responsibilities

• Handle cash, credit, and vouchers.
• Understand and practice Family Style Service with all guests and team members.
• Follow instructions and pre‑established guidelines to perform job functions.
• Assist bussers and servers with basic daily duties.
• Replenish supplies (e.g., salt/pepper, ketchup, etc.).
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, polite demeanor, and neat appearance.
• Commitment to 100% customer service.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods; stand/walk/sit for extended periods.
• Physically able to lift up to 30 lb, bend, stoop, climb, and reach (with or without reasonable accommodation).
• May be exposed to a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment.
• Minimum age of 19.
• Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing.
• Pass a background investigation.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to push and pull up to 50 lb.
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 lb.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively.
• Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period.
• Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period.
• Ability to work in a smoking and pet‑friendly environment.
