Transporter - SMKIL Transport

Department: Radiology • Facility: Prime Healthcare Medical Group • Location: 500 W Court, Kankakee, IL

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from the Radiology Department.
• Performs darkroom duties, orders supplies, stocks, and assists with dressing patients.
• Handles front office duties, including answering telephones, greeting patients, and preparing requisitions for outpatients.
• Files patient reports and retrieves patient records for physicians or medical records.
• Demonstrates knowledge of radiology test terminology and maintains professional telephone etiquette.
• Provides clerical support using telephone, computer, office equipment, and PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System).
• Runs errands throughout the facility.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification (AHA) upon hire and maintained throughout employment.
• High School diploma or equivalent (required for new hires starting April 2014).
• Transportation experience preferred.

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $15.23 to $22.06 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
