About the Role

Responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of patients, medical equipment, and supplies within a healthcare facility. This role emphasizes professionalism, attention to detail, and collaboration to ensure timely, safe, and effective transportation.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients, ensuring their comfort and safety during transfers between departments.
• Assist with boarding and disembarking patients from transport vehicles.
• Move medical equipment, supplies, and specimens safely and accurately.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols during transportation.
• Coordinate requests and schedules, collaborating with healthcare professionals to prioritize needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in transportation or customer service preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of safety and infection control procedures.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment.

Physical & Work Environment

• Frequent standing, walking, and handling of objects.
• Onsite work with night shifts.
