Transporter

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from the Radiology Department.
• Performs darkroom duties, orders supplies, stocks, dresses patients, and handles front office tasks.
• Supports the Radiology Department by answering telephones, greeting patients, preparing requisitions for outpatients, filing patient reports, and retrieving patient records for physicians or medical records.
• Provides clerical support using telephone, computer, office equipment, PACS, and running errands throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• MUST have BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current throughout employment.
• Transportation experience preferred.
• Starting April 2014, all new hires will require a High School diploma or Equivalent.

Pay

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure. The company offers a reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which is $20.74.
