Transporter - Centralized Transport - Evenings

Responsibilities

• Under the direct supervision of the Director or designee, perform duties directly involved with the transport of patients to and from departments/units throughout the hospital.
• Interact with nursing personnel to assure continuation of care during the transport process.
• Assume responsibility for patients, equipment, and functions.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
• Experience: No experience required.

Skills

• Must be physically capable of lifting and moving patients.
• Must have good communication skills with patients, visitors, and co‑workers.

Schedule

40 hours per week, evening shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
