This position is part of the Transport Project Team, located in Englewood, N.J. The role is full-time with evening shift hours from 3pm to 11pm.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed throughout the hospital
• Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and confidentiality during transport
• Respond promptly to transport requests using dispatch systems
• Maintain schedules and minimize wait times for patients and departments
• Operate stretcher, wheelchairs, beds, and oxygen tanks safely
• Clean and sanitize transport equipment after each use
• Communicate clearly with nursing staff, dispatcher, and other departments
• Follow all infection control protocols
• Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude at all times

Requirements

• Ability to walk long distances, push/pull heavy equipment, and assist with patient movement
• High School graduate/GED certificate

Pay

Englewood Health provides a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for this position starts at $16.50 per hour and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, and skills. This rate does not include bonuses, incentives, or differential pay.
