Transporter (3rd shift) - Niles

Duties

• Loading / Unloading
• Order Filler / Picker
• Material Handler / Stocker
• Production Supply and Checker
• Project Work

Maintenance

Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.

Maintain and perform minor maintenance on the forklift on a daily basis.

Operational Skills

• Safe and efficient operation of various types of industrial power equipment
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment
• Radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, put away, and load functions, as required

Support Functions

• Inventory: Keep appropriate records and reports to ensure accuracy of bin location as well as quantity of inventory control and security are maintained.
• Audit paperwork, AX transactions, and assist in physical inventories.
• Add support tasks as assigned by Supervision/Lead.

Qualifications

• Physical/Environmental Requirements: Standing on a concrete floor, wearing proper personal protective equipment, bending, stooping, twisting, standing for extended time periods, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Required to work weekends and mandatory overtime when needed.
• Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Experience with Excel / Word, organizational skills, leadership, multi-tasking, high school diploma/GED, analytical skills.
